Deactivate a member of the group – Quick9

Deactivating a group member will temporarily suspend their access to the group without permanently deleting their membership.

A Group Admin can deactivate a group member by following these steps:

Navigate to the Profile section and select the relevant group from the My groups list.

In the Group profile, locate the group member you intend to deactivate. You can use the search functionality to find them quicker, and/or use the quick filters to narrow the search to Active members only.

Toggle the switch beside their name to off. Upon doing so, you’ll see a message: “User has been deactivated from group”, and the deactivated group member will be labelled as Inactive in the group member list.

Deactivating a group member instantly restricts the group member's access to the group, but preserves all their associated group data. Their name will be marked with an Inactive status wherever it appears within group activities (e.g., games or leagues) to indicate their current access level.
